Rodale/ 67 minutes total
Synopsis:
Did you know that dance is one of the best (and most fun!) fitness workouts you'll ever do? But you don't have to be Christina, Shakira, or Jennifer to reap the benefits of dance.
Now, in just minutes a day, you can sculpt your hottest body ever - while learning the hottest dance routines featured in the latest videos and tours! Rock Your Body, from celebrity director and choreographer Jamie King, gives you everything you need to target and tone every muscle in your body...blast fat...shed stubborn pounds...and master electrifying hip-hop moves.
Packed with your favorite high-energy dance moves, Rock Your Body is so energizing and fun, it feels more like a night out than a workout!
Best of all your can Rock Your Body even if you never danced before! Easy to follow, step-by-step instructions will have you shaking, sliding, and slimming like a star in no time.
The workout: Unless you’re a trained dancer, this is super-tough at first. I have two left feet and the first time I did this DVD I was frustrated beyond measure. Don’t get me wrong—I had fun and got quite glow-y, but I was confuuuused. But then it got better and better. This DVD is totally different from any other ones out there and it’s a ton of fun. I’ve always wanted to be a pop star and here I can pretend and workout at the same time!
Extras:
Bonus segments—Strength Training, Break it Down 1 and Break it Down 2
The instructor: Jamie is pretty good. He’s fun. He’s passionate. He’s a little too quick with the moves but that’s okay. You can tell he’s a dancer and not a fitness instructor and as long as you’re aware of that, you’ll have no issues with him.
Worth purchasing? Heck, yeah. It’s a hell of a lotta fun. And that’s super rare with a workout. Who cares if you look like an idiot? Dance like no one’s watching.

10 Minute Solution: Tone Trouble Zones! (4 out of 5 stars)
Anchor Bay/ 5 different 10 minute workouts
Synopsis:
No time to exercise? We have the solution for you - the l0 Minute Solution! Everyone can find at least ten minutes in their day, and we’ve developed 5 dynamic body band workouts that are just 10 minutes each. The workouts will tone and reshape your whole body. Compact and ultra-efficient, these workouts fit into even the busiest of schedules. Split them into 5 separate workouts or do them all together for one amazing, body-transforming workout!
The workout: Don’t have any time? Don’t have any equipment? You can’t use those excuses here! Yeah, I know—they’re usually my favourite ones too. Still, it’s nice to get a resistance band with a DVD that requires one. You’ll also need a mat. The DVD is broken down into 10 minute segments so you can tell yourself you’re just going to do one (which is enough to feel a burn and break a sweat) but I usually ended up doing at least two. It’s a beginner/intermediate level, and you can expect to be challenged. The areas covered are arm and shoulder sculpt, butt and thigh blaster, sleek and sexy abs, total body tone zone, and a 10 minute stretch (great in the mornings!)
Extras:
none
The instructor: Amy Bento is very motivational and I didn’t want to through her through a window which is always nice. She’s friendly and the cueing is accurate and easy to follow. She doesn’t make any modifications to make the moves easier or harder.
Worth purchasing? If you like the 10 Minute series, this is a great addition. Overall, the workout is effective and Amy is a likeable instructor. Blah music though.

I tend to find dancing videos lame to tell you the truth. But Gaiam is always a class-act they stay true to that in this new workout. The best part about it is the instructor, Patricia Moreno. She's insiprational without being annoying and you can tell she really believes the stuff she's saying, which counts.

Verdict: It's a little long (30 and 60 minute workouts) but effective. And Moreno is awesome.

Quickie

I'm not preggo and have no intention either as my womb seems to reject the notion of little ones, but I sat and watched this so I could review it far all of you lovilies who are. I must say, it seems like a great option. I don't know how easy it is to do the pilates when huge, but for your first little while it's a great workout. There's also a post-pregnancy one to help you get back into shape. The instructor was really likeable as well.

Verdict: Seems like a good one to me.
